Jinemed Medical Center was founded in 1989 by Prof. Dr. Teksen Camlibel as a private clinic, specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The name “Jinemed “is the combination of the words “jinekoloji” (gynecology in Turkish) and “medical”. Since its start up, Jinemed has been a popular institution for women seeking gynecologic and obstetric care. Jinemed has been serving foreign patients for several years now. With its consultant doctors from USA, Jinemed is up to date with medical developments and has gained prestige on an international level.


Today, Jinemed Medical Center has three branches in Turkey. The experience and the specialization gained in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology directed us to give services in other medical fields.

For this purpose, Dr. Teksen CAMLIBEL founded the new Jinemed Hospital (2005) which serves in a wide range of medical branches. The hospital is located in the city center of the European Side of Istanbul. All international patients receive boutique medical service at this modern facility where friendly english speaking personnel is available.

Treatment's Success Rate:

The success rate of in vitro fertilization and microinjection is obtained by dividing the number of couples who have children with these methods by the number of couples who begin the treatment process. The global success rate of such procedures is approximately 30%. This percentage reflects the average of every age group. However, if patients are divided into groups by age, there is a success rate of 60-70% among young patients between 20-30 years of age, decline by 50% after age 35 and finally dropping to 25% after age 40. The most important cause of this decline is advanced age and egg reserves of reduced quality and quantity. These percentages are representative of the Turkish population as well. In other words, 30 of every 100 couples that begin treatment end up with a child. However, it would be misleading for every patient to use this percentage when evaluating their own condition because the causes of infertility and age are not the same for all patients who receive treatment.
