Endoscopic Facelift + Blepheroplasty: I had decided to have a facelift, eye surgery and necklift when I turned 50. I live in Afghanistan (US national) so knew I wanted to go to Istanbul. I did my research on clinics in Turkey and was sold on the treatment and responsiveness that I got from the Clinic/ Patient coordinator. From the time I landed in Istanbul to 3 months later, the care, support and service that I received was amazing. My healing time was a bit slow since I returned to Kabul after 7 days and back to work on day eight! and the environment in Kabul is not very conducive to healing from major surgery. But, despite my slow healing, the patient co-ordinator, my doctor and my surgeon continued to support me and provide counsel along the way. Today? still some healing (as is normal up to a year with these procedures)- but so happy that I did it- the results are beautiful- I feel rejuvenated and will definitely go back to Harmonia in 6 months or so for follow up and laser treatment to complete the process. I will close by saying- if it were not for my patient co-ordinator's constant support- the experience would have not been the same. She was amazing then and even today- I felt so cared for before and after the surgery- which is so important when you go to a foreign country alone to have major surgery. Highly recommend! Nov-2012

Tattoo Removal: From the moment I e-mailed Harmonia I knew the service would be excellent. I was contacted immediately and given all the information I needed (and more!). I was picked up from my hotel by a very knowledgeable medical staff member (also the General Manager) who briefed me on the way to the clinic. She also gave me great information about the city and sights to see. The clinic was spotlessly clean, I did not have to wait long and the service was great. The facilitator from Harmonia was with me the whole time, serving as a translator and a great person to keep you calm through your procedure. I was morbidly obese, according to the Physician, hypertensive, high risk for diabetes and heart disease, and knew I had to do something before it got worse. I have lost weight the old fashioned way, diet and exercise definitely work, but only if you keep the weight off, and that was my problem. Although I had lost 80 pounds, over the course of the next 5 years I slowly gained it all back. I knew I didn't want to live my life over-weight and on medications, so I made a decision that would change my life forever. My journey started on Dec 31, 2011. My mom and I flew to Istanbul, where she was scheduled to have a facelift. I was going to have a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG). I had a physical in the states 2 weeks before we flew over to Turkey and that day I weighed in at 270 pounds, I am also 6 feet tall, but that is still enormous. Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted by Didem and Eren and brought to our hotel. The fact that Harmonia provided transportation was a huge bonus, especially with the language barrier. They were available 24 hours by phone in case we needed anything. My surgery was on January 10th 2012. All my pre-op testing and appointments were scheduled by Harmonia, and only had to be ready when they called. It was a great service. The hospital I was at was amazing. I was put on a VIP floor, and the staff were excellent. Eren was kind enough to spend 12-15 hour days at the hospital to help in translating, that was a huge help. Upon discharge we were taken back to the hotel for recovery. We were visited everyday by Dr. Turker, and they were only a phone call away if we needed them. The customer service was outstanding. They really went above and beyond to make us happy. Today, 6 months later, I am 71 pounds down and off all my medications. I feel fantastic. The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner. My life has changed for the better in every aspect possible. I understand that people are going to be sceptical about going to another country for surgery, but rest easy knowing that Harmonia will be on the other end to lead the way. Titan - L.Genesis - Botox: I used the services of Harmonia for Treatment for lines and wrinkles and Titan skin laser treatment. Didem was prompt and professional before we got to Istanbul and was able to organise treatment at very short notice (our travel plans changed last-minute). Istanbul is absolutely massive so it was nice that Didem picked me up at my hotel and did all the necessary paperwork and explaining in the taxi, without me having to bother looking up where to go and how to get there. Very helpful and efficient! The doctor was trained in Germany, worked as a surgeon in Germany and we spoke German, although Didem was always happy to translate English to Turkish if I did not know a particular word in German. The doctor was very kind and very good at explaining, and needed very little explanation himself from me, he understood exactly what I aimed for and told me all details, why this would be better than that etc. Treatment for lines and wrinkles is about the same price all over the world, but the doctor applying it makes a big difference. I had the same spot (wrinkle between brows) treated with Treatment for lines and wrinkles before in Thailand, the Netherlands and the US, but I never had as good a result as in Istanbul! The doctor has his own personally developed technique and I thought the difference with previous Treatment for lines and wrinkles treatments was huge. It also seemed to last longer, about 7 months before you really could see my wrinkle coming back. I did two sessions of the Titan laser treatment plus a different laser treatment for the eye area that he recommended. I noticed a difference in my skin even after the first session and now, a year after that first session, it still looks much better than before. I will probably have another Titan session this year, and it will absolutely be in Istanbul with Didem and the same doctor! Jun-2011

Post-bariatic plastic surgery: I did my research from Canada to get for plastic surgery in Istanbul as Turkey offers modern health services comparable t o North America at much affordable prices. After talking to several plastic surgeons and boutique hospitals, I decided to with Harmonia Surgical Tourism for several reasons 1. They answered each of my questions with most details and kept encouraging me to ask more questions. They gave me feedback on my photos about procedures that were inline with what I had in mind. 2. Without even asking, Didem, the managing director arranged a Skype meeting with Dr Turker to further ease my anxiety with the procedure and help me connect to the doctor to create trust. 3. Conversation with Dr Turker and Didem immediately helped me make my decision and I requested surgery in 2 weeks. They offered me references but at this point I was already convinced. 4. They gave me a very competitive price, about a third of what I would have pain in Canada. Upon arrival in Istanbul, Harmonia arranged transport and check up with Dr Turker the same day. Upon physical examination, it seemed I needed slightly more work then originally taught, and I was offered that without an increase in price. Surgery went well, the hospital and staff were fantastic, and I had a large suite and 24 hour service in the hospital for several days. Dr Turker gave me personal attention for several days until I was ready to be discharged. Upon discharge Dr Turker visited me at my hotel in Istanbul several times to do check ups. I even had monthly and 3 month checks with him on Skype. I had a wonderful experience, The entire team Dr Turker, Didem and Eren went out of their way to make me comfortable and the service I got, I probably would not have got in Canada. I would like to thank you so much for all of your help. For so many years (28 to be exact) of my life I struggled with my weight. I have always been very active, in dance and after school activities, As an adult I would even go to the gym for 2 hours or more (plus I would walk to the gym) twice a day. But the weight never would come off. I seen a friend that was a lot heavier then I ever was and I asked her how she lost her weight, she told me she had a Gastric Bypass. I struggled with the thought of ever getting this surgery. I knew I was over weight but I just never believed I was over weight enough to get this surgery. Then I finally decided to go for it. I emailed several Hospitals, between the US, Dubai and Turkey. The responses I received back from the US were not only expensive but that I would need months of therapy before I could ever be even thought of for the surgery, which angered, saddened me and other mixed feelings. I was a little scared to have surgery over seas as I have already went down that road when I had a Tummy tuck back in 2011. The Dr did a horrible job and I now have a horrible scar. He should have never agreed to do that surgery for me, rather he should have suggested for me to lose more weight or to have weight loss surgery. I received responses back from both Dubai and 2 places in Turkey, Harmonia being one of them. Harmonia was the only one to recommend me to get the gastric sleeve as apposed to the full bypass, also the only one to answer all of my questions. At that time I have never heard of the surgery and began looking up all of the info I could find on it. It was so nice of them to make that gesture. On the 27th of August I went in for my final check up before the surgery. I weighed 104 Kilo/ 233 lbs a L-XL in shirts and 16-18 in pants. On the 28th of Aug I had my surgery, when I went into the room Didem from harmonia was there to send me off, along with my Fam. And they were ALL there when I woke up. The 1st day was a little hard just because of the anesthetics and what have you, but the rest was a piece of cake. I was thirsty, and I couldn't drink any water because they wanted my stomach to have time to heal and what have you. On the 7th day they made me drink this HORRRIBLE blue liquid (just thinking about it makes me grossed out) so they can do a MRI on my stomach to make sure there were no leaks or anything. I was good to go so they took out my drain tubes (which hurt more then ANYTHING! It literally felt like they were sucking my insides out threw a straw!) and was able to leave the hospital. I didn't have much pain after that, some large discomfort of course, but not much PAIN. It has been a little over 6 months and I am down to 71 Kilo/ 158 lbs a S-M in shirts and size 6 in Pants. It was the best decision I have ever made, besides starting to date my best friend Omer and now being engaged to him :). Since then Harmonia has been so helpful. Omer's sister got very sick and Harmonia didn't even think twice about helping us every time. They have become very friends and will hopefully be coming to our wedding. If you are thinking about using Harmonia I highly suggest that you don't even think twice about it. Didem will take perfect care of you from beginning until forever. I requested a Botox treatment while staying in Istanbul. The follow up was swift, 2 days later I was at the Clinic having the treatment. Dr. Turker is highly skilled and very friendly. The assistance from Didem was immaculate and everything was in a friendly atmosphere. Needless to say that I am very happy about the result and I am a returning customer. Dear Sir / Madam, Hello, I am an American woman age 63 who sought elective cosmetic surgery abroad. This decision was based on the fact that I could not afford a Plastic Surgeon here in America to acheive what I wanted done which was a total face lift with upper and lower eyelids. In America this would have been upwards of $25,000,00. Istanbul may not be the least expensive but I feel comfortable in saying that my result was the best I could have purchased anywhere in the world.
