3. What are the patient’s most common fears and concerns about plastic surgery?

4. Where do you perform the surgeries, in a hospital or clinic?

There are different conceptions. In Argentina, a clinic is a hospital as well. We own the medical center (Barrancas), which is what we call a boutique hospital. Our patients enjoy the clinic’s warm and friendly atmosphere that emphasizes patient confidentiality and privacy. 5. Do you combine procedures? How many per surgery?

Yes. 3 to 4 surgeries can be combined. If the patient is in good health and the weight is ideal, we can combine, for example, breast augmentation, Liposcultpture, face lift, laser resurfacing, buttocks, calf implants, nose surgery and breast surgeries. Combination of more than 2 procedures depends on several factors: 1) overall health, medical condition and medications that the patient takes, 2) smoking status, 3) operative time, 4) weight. The risk for surgery and anesthesia is very small if the patient is healthy and a non-smoker.

6. Is plastic surgery evolving faster today than before?

Yes, of course. The industry is blooming along with the latest technological developments that aid in performing simple, painless surgeries that are very beneficial. Whether you need a small cosmetic enhancement, or want a complete overall body adjustment after a major weight loss, evolving techniques and procedures are making plastic surgery safer and faster. 7. How long does a patient have to stay in Argentina after the surgery?

It depends on the complexity of the surgery as well as the procedures.
Minimum 7 days to 9 days ( nose surgery, 1 or 2 areas lipo, botox, laser resurfacing, eyelid surgery with no face lift) or a maximum of 15 to 20 days (tummy tuck, breast augmentation, face lift, buttocks augment or implants, complete body lipo) and so on.

8. How are the silicone prosthesis implanted?

It depends on each case. We will determine which technique is better according to the body structure of each patient. Breast implants for augmentation may be placed via various types of incisions: Inframammary, transaxillary, or periareolar (most common to perform).
