Transgender Beauty Queen vs Donald Trump

By Kai Colvin - Senior Medical Research Editor | May 17th, 2012

Recently Trumped by Trump—Jenna Talackova has continued to be triumphant in her lifelong pursuit for happiness.

Temporarily disqualified from a Canadian beauty pageant, Jenna Talackova asserts that even as a child she felt a craving to be more feminine.

Talackova recently sat down with ABC News’ Barbara Walters for a special interview. She expressed that she was just four years old when she comprehended she was unalike those around her.

“As soon as I was conscious, I just always knew that I was not what they were saying. It wasn’t right,” she told Walters. “I thought that I was in the wrong body.”

At just 14, the transition began to achieve her ultimate goal of being a woman. Channeled by hormone therapy and a touch of feminine clothing, Jenna was on the path for pure bliss.

Hormone therapy helps to progress breasts and gives the skin a more feminine superiority.

She emphasized the treatments, “made me feel better, mentally.”

Although teasing and horrid nuisance set in by Jenna’s peers, she kept a positive attitude. She endured MTF gender reassignment surgery at the age of 19.

Talackova acquired approval letters from doctors attesting her qualification for sex reassignment surgery — a procedure implicated to use the skin of Talackova’s penis to create a vagina.

The SRS was followed by breast implants and a trachea shave.

So, why would anyone want to undermine Jenna’s happiness or appearance?

Donald Trump, whose company owns Ms. Universe pageants, reversed not only the decision to disqualify Talackova, but implemented a rule change for “natural born female” statute.

The Trump association later indicated that the pageant rules had “been modernized to ensure this type of issue does not occur again.”

Talackova has shown more triumph with her new role as a transgender rights activist.

“I feel like the universe, the creator just put me in this position as an advocate,” she said. “And now it’s like this, and I’ll take that position. If it’s helping anybody else, my story and my actions, then I feel great about it.”

While the beauty pageant exposed the Donald Trump association, Talackova has rightfully exposed to the world that beauty is about fighting for what you believe in.
