A recent poll reveals that men are not the only ones enjoying the fruits of breast surgery.
Sixty percent of the women surveyed admitted to having more sex since their breast augmentation, and another seventy percent said they were actually having better sex than before the plastic surgery.
The survey specifically asked women to rate their sex life improvement on a one to ten scale, and twenty-eight percent of the women said that that area had improved at least four points.
The survey concluded that woman who had undergone breast surgery were able to climax quicker and experienced an overall higher level of arousal.
Breast implants are well known to increase a woman’s self-confidence, so it only makes sense that the same logic would work its way into the bedroom.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew P. Trussler did not find the survey results surprising at all.
Trussler says “In my personal observation, women definitely feel more confident after the procedure, and you can easily see how that improved confidence will lead to improvements in other areas of their lives.”
An anonymous survey participant seconded the notion that men are not the only ones who get enjoyment from larger breasts, saying, “It is not just about the ability to impress a man. It’s about feeling self-confident within, which enables you to enjoy a sexual experience more freely and unhibited.”
Nearly one million women have had breast augmentation surgery in the past three years in the United States alone, and according to those surveyed, over seventy-five percent would say the surgery was well worth it.
Whether breast reconstruction is needed or just wanted, women apparently have plenty to gain from undergoing this type of plastic surgery.
