Definition
Neurology is the area of medicine that diagnoses and treats conditions affecting the brain and central nervous system. Degenerative diseases Parkinson's, Hungtington's and Alzheimers are all neurological diseases. The most common neurological problem that can affect people of all ages is epilepsy. Neurologists have a number of treatments available to control epilepsy and prevent epileptic seizures.
