Should I get cataract surgery & IOL
I've been diagnosed with a cataract in my left eye and am considering treatment options. Currently I wear contact lenses for short-sightedness and wonder about the effect of an IOL on my vision. Will I need to wear my contact lenses after surgery or can doctors use an IO lens to improve the short sightedness? Are there any complications from wearing contacts with an IOL?

You should not have to wear lenses after if the IOL is properly sized. No complications from wearing contacts with an IOL.
