Nerves pressed between spinal bones causing improper blood circulation and pain. - Orthopedic Surgery

Nerves pressed between spinal bones causing improper blood circulation and pain.

My mother is suffering from this thing where some nerves of her back is stuck between the bones in spine and pressed, which is causing improper blood circulation. It all started with her back pain, and now doctors have advised her to take complete bed rest. It is very tough for a active person to lay down on bed completely for weeks.
Can you please tell me what is this, how does it occurs and how to cure it ,also what precautions she should take for future.
it will be of great help for me if you can explain my above quires.

Thanks & Regards,
Manoj Rashaily

To answer more accurately we need to see patient MRI or CAT scan. If nerves are stuck, there should be some leg pain also.

Dear Sir/ Madame,

Nerve compression syndrome (shown by a MRI-scan?) does usually not cause a circulation problem, and bed rest is an antiquated treatment option that has been abandoned years ago. Images of the MRI-scan and plane radiographs as well as further information (age of your mother, first onset of symptoms, possible reason for onset, treatment applied so far...) would be needed to give further advice regarding treatment options.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Alf Neuhaus
