I beleive my 17 year old nephew is suffering from chagas disease...... - General Medicine (Internal Medicine)

My nephew has shown all the symptoms of chagas disease, my family and I have taken him to the emergency room twice and to his regular physician twice now and they refuse to listen to us they think we're crazy they refus to help us. It is heart breaking to watch my nephew suffer and even more heart breaking when no one is willing to help us. I am afraid now for his life now because he is having more and more frequent chest pain. Where can we find someone to help? At the very least a doctor who is willing to test him for the disease so we can either treat it or rule it out and move on. Why is chagas disease such a difficult subject? Please....we are at the end of our rope any information input or guidance you can offer would be appreciated.
