Have experienced numbness, muscle spasms forever. MRII neg. Hashimoto''s cause

Thyroid tests show I am being treated adequately. One neurologist thought I had microscopic MS, another dismissed that theory. Now I wonder if my Hashimoto's, despite my internist's denial, was never treated adequately. Tests 18 years ago showed abnormal visual evoked response, EMGs showed slowed nerve response on right side of my body. I also have a subarachnoid spinal cord cyst between my shoulder blades. Any other theories? I live in St. Louis if you have any neurologist suggestions, although I've seen three!
