Does computer use cause cataracts?

Does using computer for long hours causes cataract? If yes, what could be done to prevent cataract development?

Cataracts can't be prevented they're a natural part of aging for but the sooner the cataract is removed, the better the recovery. Leaving a cataract untreated can cause further vision deterioration.

computer use doesn't cause cataracts but spending a lot of time looking at a computer DOES strain your eyes. try to look away from the screen every twenty minutes and re-adjust your sight before starting to woork again
